Relationship/Communication between Wadiso and EPANet

The Time/WQ simulation feature of Wadiso is handled entirely by the EPANet program, which has been “built” into Wadiso as an application which runs in the background. Wadiso provides the graphical/spreadsheet environment in which system data and time/WQ data can be entered/edited for a time/WQ simulation; a command line file is compiled from the data in Wadiso and used to run a background application of EPANet. This, in turn, produces binary format time/WQ simulation result files, which are read back into Wadiso for displaying and querying the results.

Full reporting from the EPANet application is available, and the error messages, as well as warnings produced during the time/WQ simulation, can also be viewed.
