There are various time steps which are used in the time simulation. The most important two are the hydraulic and quality time steps. The hydraulic time step is the time interval between re-calculation of system hydraulics. Normal default is 1 hour. The hydraulic time step has to be less than the duration. The Quality time step is the time interval used for routing of water quality constituents. Normal default is 5 minutes.
