Albion is an ancient name for England, or the collective British Isles. You will find it mentioned often in William Blake's writings (see also a Wikipedia article about Albion).

 

Albion is primarily a 2D package, with emphasis placed on mapping and spatial analysis via the integrated Geographical Information System (GIS).  The program has been successfully used and tested for many years in the civil engineering field.
