Delete Layer (select from Right-click Menu of GIS Layer Manager)
Delete GIS layer.
Unlike Remove Layer, which removes a GIS layer from a project, this function permanently deletes the selected layer and its underlying table data. Tables in a database with no associated GIS layer can also be deleted in this way. Note that this action can only be applied to multi-table databases that have more than 1 table open.
To avoid the accidental deletion of data, the user will be presented with the following two windows before the data is deleted:
