Divorce From GIS

Divorce from GIS (select from Right-click Menu of GIS Layer Manager)

Dissociating (Divorcing) a GIS Layer from its CAD Layer.

It is sometimes useful to create a pure CAD representation of GIS data. In order to do this, select the GIS layer in the GIS Layer Manager box, right-click and choose Divorce from GIS from the ensuing drop-down menu. The GIS layer will be made invisible, and the CAD layer will be unbound from any GIS associations that it previously held.

Another alternative is to simply save the CAD drawing (for example as a DXF file). When you do this, you are creating a CAD-only drawing, which bears no memory to how it was created.
