Clone (select from Right-click Menu of GIS Layer Manager)

Make copy of layer.

This function can be used to make an exact copy (i.e. a clone) of a layer. The render settings of the layer will also be copied. Note the newly copied layer points to the same data source as the original, only a temporary new layer name will appear in the GIS Layer Manager. The user can now change the render settings of the newly copied layer, or create a new permanent layer from it (with a new distinct data source) by using the Save As function.
