Printing

This section describes how printing works inside Albion.

Overview

A drawing can be printed directly from Model Space (the standard spatial drawing environment), or from a Paper Space layout view. A Paper Space layout offers a more powerful printing facility, but printing directly from Model Space is sometimes convenient for producing a quick printout. In either case, the function to invoke printing is Print.

Printing in Paper Space

The main purpose of Paper Space is to provide a place from which to prepare a printout of a drawing. In Paper Space one can have multiple views of the drawing, and one can see the paper layed out clearly to scale. Any number of Paper Space layouts can be created, and they are saved with a drawing.

Printing in Model Space

Printing from Model Space provides a quick way of printing. Use a Paper Space layout if a complex layout on the page is required. The 'Print' function while in Model Space will allow you to print from there.
