Viewing system result tables

The basic form for viewing/interpreting the results, but also the most cumbersome, is through the various tables.

Open the Pipe/CV table via Analysis > Steady State > Results Tables > Pipes/CV. This is exactly the same as the Pipes/CV data editor table discussed earlier, but a table layout has been pre-set to focus on the results, rather than other aspects such as the data. For Pipes, the focus fields in this table layout include Balanced Status, Flow, Velocity, Headloss, Energy gradient, Upstream Elevation, Downstream Elevation, Upstream Energy Grade Line, Downstream Energy Grade Line, Upstream Head (liquid), and Downstream Head (liquid).

Open the Node Results table via Analysis > Steady State > Results Tables > Node. This is exactly the same as the Node data editor table discussed earlier, but a table layout has been pre-set to focus on the results, rather than other aspects such as the data. For Nodes, the focus fields in this table layout include Simulated Output, Energy Grade Line (EGL above datum), Head (liquid), Pressure, and Emitter Flow (if applicable). Notice that there is a negative 2.3 m pressure at the suction node of the pump, namely at Node 2, and also that the lowest pressure (Head) otherwise in the network is 19.7 m, at Node 15.

Viewing the Pump results table, will show a Pump Flow of 153 L/s, at a Pump Head of 114 m, in the results fields. The Tank results table shows that the total system demand of 400.0 L/s is supplied 153 L/s from the WTP clearwell (also exactly the same as the pump flow), and 247 L/s from the balancing tank.

As for the data table layouts, the results table layouts can be sorted and customized to the users preferences, with regard to which columns should be visible, number formats, font sizes, colours, etc. Regular users (i.e. non-advanced users), however, do not ever have to customise these views, and should be able to get by with the standard pre-set table layouts.
