In order for the software to calculate/generate a range of optimum values (so called pareto list), the user can specify certain criteria.
For example:
Pressure slightly violated, but cheaper than optimum.
More expensive than optimum, but better pressures.
For this example, set the following under Optimization Data > Optimization Settings:
Pareto Tolerances > Pressure to 3 m.
Pareto Tolerances > Cost to 10%.
Leave the default Elim Small Pipes and Size / Fast Filter enabled.
Also ensure that Evolutionary Optimization remains disabled.
Press OK.
Below, a screen-shot of the correct input:
In Wadiso 6, Optimization data is stored as part of the model, so it is not necessary to Save the Optimization Data separately (export), but the model should now be saved. Navigate to Manage Models > Save Model, confirming that you would want to save all changes.
(Correct file stored as Wadiso 6 - Tutorial Future Final_backup.wlz, if user wants to recover using Manage Models > Close Model / Load Model).
