The Model Data > Topology > Convert Node to Vertex function changes a node to an intermediate point on an existing pipeline. The node has to be a common node between two pipes which are consequently joined into a single pipe. This function is discussed in more detail in the Albion 6 help (Albion 6 CAD User Guide > Main Menu > GIS > Network Topologies > Convert Node to Vertex).
