New Time/WQ Simulation Data

New Time/WQ Simulation Data

Selecting Simulation Data > New Simulation Data clears all the time/WQ simulation data from the program memory. The user is prompted with a warning to this effect, prior to the execution of the procedure.

 

Both system-specific time/WQ simulation parameters, and time/WQ simulation-specific parameters, are cleared and replaced by default values. The default values are:

 

Time/WQ Simulation-Specific Parameters:

Hydraulic Time Step = 1.0 hour

Pattern Time Step = 1.0 hour

Quality Time Step = 0.1 hour

Bulk Reaction Order = 1.0

Wall Reaction Order = 1.0

Tank Reaction Order = 1.0

Limiting Concentration = 0.0

Wall Roughness Correlation = 0.0

oEnergy Settings

Pump Efficiency = 75%

Energy Price = 0.0 / kWh

Demand Charge = 0.0 / max kW usage

Price Time Pattern No = 0

System-Specific Time/WQ Simulation Data:

oThe system-specific time/WQ simulation data, i.e. time/WQ simulation fields in the Pipes/CVs, Pumps, Valves, Nodes, and Tanks (and Reservoirs) tables, remain unaffected by the Simulation Data > New Simulation Data operation.
