GIS > Data > Save Layer As... (select from Main Menu)

Save current layer.

This function saves the current layer data and opens a Save As dialog box to specify a file name and data type. Many different geometric file formats can be chosen from a drop-down list, and also the following non-spatial formats are supported: XBase (.dbf), Comma Separated Values (.csv). You can convert from one type to the other by simply selecting the new type (and specify a new file name) and then continue with saving.
