Insert node on link.
This function inserts a node on an existing link. The node is inserted on the link at the location closest to the indicated cursor position. The existing link is usually split into two links. If, however, the node is inserted at a link crossing (i.e. where two links cross each other) the two crossing links will hereby be split into four links. After an insert node operation, new link and node numbers are automatically assigned to the newly created links and nodes in the model.
