Selecting Optimization Data > New Optimization Data clears all the optimization data from the program memory. The user is prompted with a warning to this effect, prior to the execution of the procedure.

Both system specific optimization parameters, and optimization specific parameters, are cleared and replaced by default values. The default values are:

•Optimization Specific parameters:

- Hazen-Williams coefficient for cleaned/lined pipes = 120

- Pareto Optimal tolerances for pressure = 0.0, for cost = 1.0%

- Eliminate Small Pipes is switched ON

- Size Filter is switched ON

- Include Tank Sizing is switched OFF

•System Specific Optimization parameters:

- Pipes/CV: All pipes in Group 0, and assigned to Pipe Cost Fn#1.

- Nodes: All 5 load cases for all nodes have 0.0 Output, -IEIO Pressure.

- Pumps: All pumps at 100% Efficiency, and 0% RunTimes.

- Tanks: All tanks assigned to Tank Cost Function #1; Average balancing level set equal to steady state water level, Existing Volume = 0.0, Emergency Volume = 0.0.
