Add Node

The Model Data > Model Topology > Add Node function allows graphically the addition of a node link to the existing system model.

Alternatively, click on the Add Node toolbar button to access the above function:

WAD_UserGuide_AddNodeButton

This will add a node to the model. If you add a node on an existing link, then the link is split at that location (and the topology is updated as well). You can also add a node where two links cross (this can be established by activating the Intersection snap mode, see Albion 6 CAD User Guide). This will ensure the node is placed at the exact crossing point, and will hereby split the two links into four links.

For standard pipe capturing, the Add Pipe function is the recommended function to apply, since it also automatically adds nodes to the model (when a pipe is added).
