Balancing of the system for Example 2, and the viewing of results, are achieved just as described in Example 1. Perform a steady state system balance by selecting Analysis > Steady State > Balance. The result can again be viewed in the various entity data editor tables, or for single entities, from the Database box. The system, and its results, can however also be graphically “queried” by using the Themes. Finally, contours of EGL or pressure head can now also be generated by selecting Analysis > Steady State > Generate Pressure Contours. The Generate Contours dialog box will appear, with many options that can be set. Set the Source Dtm to Energy Grade (or Pressure Head). Click the Get From DTM button, and click OK to generate the contours. The contours will be generated on a layer called Contours.
