The program has built-in functionality for specifying the following curves:

•Multiple point (>4) pump curves

•Head loss curves for general purpose valves (GPV)

 

A curve can be defined as data pairs representing the relationship between two variables, such as pump flow and pump head, or valve flow and valve head loss. Two or more pumps can share the same curve, and two or more GPVs can share the same curve.

 

(For purpose of time simulation, the curves function can also be used to define pump efficiency curves, and volume curves for non-cylindrical tanks).
