This is the output entered at nodes in the Tsim_Output (L/s) field for time simulation purposes, similar to that of the steady state analysis of the system, and can be regarded as the average or nominal water demand of all the consumers at the node. The Base Demand can either comprise of a single demand category, or can be a combined demand of a number of demand categories. During the time simulation, this demand is allowed to fluctuate in accordance with a time pattern, and is multiplied by the time pattern factors.
