A Wadiso project, in its simplest form, involves the creation/loading of a model, editing and balancing of a distribution system, and finally saving the model and exiting the program. Even for this simple project, certain settings or selections need to be made, e.g. the job name, flow equation to be used, maximum number of iterations used (by the solver), etc. The project themes and table layouts can also be customized. These basic aspects of the model are discussed below (the more complex model editing and balancing will be discussed in later sections):
